Testimonials

"You can tell she really loves the practice, and guiding her students on their wellness journey with a passion that I have not seen elsewhere. Her sessions feel welcoming no matter your level, and she always pays attention to the little things that make a big difference. "

-Mama ♥︎ (she might be a lil biased here)

"I’ve tried a bunch of yoga teachers and Hira’s the only one who doesn’t make me feel like I need to be a vegan acrobat to join."

-Sym P

"Her cues are SO clear. I’ve done other classes where I’m like ‘am I doing this right?’ but with Hira it just clicks."

About Me

I got into yoga at 18—not for inner peace or enlightenment or whatever else the internet was promising—but because I had back pain no doctor could figure out. Simple as that.

But somewhere along the way, something shifted. Yoga didn’t just stretch my spine—it gave me space to breathe, to think, to be in my body in a way I hadn’t been before. At the time, I didn’t even have the language to say “I have anxiety.” Yoga helped me realize that. And then helped me work through it.

Now, I teach yoga rooted in that same intention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nope! Yoga is about moving and feeling good, not touching your toes. If you can breathe, you can do yoga. Flexibility comes with time, but honestly, it’s the least important part.
Perfect! My classes are designed for beginners. No experience, fancy leggings, or spiritual enlightenment required—just show up, breathe, and move.
The right attitude.
But a yoga mat, a towel, and anything that can work as blocks (books, sturdy containers, your cat if they cooperate) will help. If it’s an outdoor class, bring layers because Toronto weather is unpredictable.
